RSS2Exchange is a high performance server application taking advantage of multithreading and multiplexing
Multithreading allows full utilization of multiple CPUs, while multiplexing ensure massively parallel communications run as efficiently as possible.
RSS2Exchange is designed to produce static email items on your Exchange server at scheduled intervals. This has the advantage that performance is only limited by your server's ability to serve standard page/folder views.
The download of news feeds has extremely low bandwidth requirements, typically around 5 kbytes per feed per day. The news feed gathering and publishing process takes place at times and intervals scheduled by the administrator. Hence, you can schedule these to be when it is most convenient for your network.
